Exfoliating regimens should take away the dead skin cells that are part of the skin’s lifecycle yet too much can damage the skin beyond repair, leaving it unable to grow fresh and healthy skin cells. Using gentle exfoliating solutions and creams/washes work best for they do the job well and leave the proper amount of moisturizers to give the developing skin cells ample nourishment. Dead skin cells sometimes become stubborn enough they fail to fall off during the day leaving skin patchy and flaky. Exfoliation should be at a balanced level that should take away the dead skin cells yet not too much that the underlying cells get damaged too. Sunscreens and other protective products prevents the action of free-radicals or cell killing agents that causes pre-mature aging of cells that can be easily avoided with protection from these damaging particles. Anti-oxidants in foods are good and nourishing such as nuts and fruits making the one apple a day regimen more truth.
Itchy skin is often the result of washing which may have been inadequate, leaving residue on the clothes that mix in with pollutants and sweat irritating your skin. Wash clothes properly to remove as much as possible so they cannot add to the pollutants already in the air and environment that can harm your skin. Non-biological soaps are also recommended for people with sensitive skin for chemicals and detergents often irritate the skin further leaving your skin care products wasted and ineffective.
