An unknown inventor from Philadelphia formulated the widely known in 1888. Recognized as being the first ever product to prevent underarm odor, he promptly trademarked his invention and distributed it through his nurse under the name of “Mum.” Some experts in marketing strategies joined the production team and suggested to develop an underarm deodorant in what is known as the ball point pen. This new type of deodorant applicator was tested in the USA and marketed under the name of Ban Roll-On. The first anti-perspirant aerosol deodorant was eventually launched in the succeeding years. Thus, new inventions on the packaging has developed and introduced into the widely accepted market of anti-persirant.
